While some vineyards are about 30 minutes drive from others, the travel is easy and picturesque.

Lake George Winery is family owned and operated and is located on the north-western shores of the mysterious Lake George. Grapes are hand picked, following sustainable practices and their wine is vegan friendly.

WINE TOUR that includes LARK HILL WINERY
Lark Hill was established in 1978 by Sue & Dave Carpenter, high on the escarpment above Bungendore, north east of Canberra. Lark Hill is a cold vineyard, growing Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gruner Veltliner. From 2003, Lark Hill has been farmed using Biodynamic Principles.

Contentious Character is a cool-climate single vineyard winery, set in the hills of Wamboin. They grow their own grapes, sell their own wines, and make their own good times. You’re welcome to join them at the weekends when they throw open their cellar door, fire up the pizza oven and serve fresh local produce from their kitchen, paired with their wines.
