The Canberra district wine region is home to over 150 vineyards, more than 40 Cellar Doors and a production of more than two million bottles of wine annually. Boutique wineries dot the region and most are producing hand-crafted and award winning wines, making a wine tour a memorable experience.
The wine district is located within 45 minutes’ drive of Canberra, making it perfect for a Grape Escape wine tour. The district’s focus is on producing quality wines and maintaining a boutique look and feel, making a wine tour idyllic for sipping wines, sampling local produce and improving wine knowledge.
Our Grape Escape Wine Tours are a quintessential day out for wine enthusiasts, for couples, or for small family groups or friends wishing to celebrate a special occasion or just being together and having fun.
Our wine tours are luxury and bespoke private tours. We plan an individualised wine tour with you so you can enjoy visiting the region’s wineries exactly as you wish; or you can leave the itinerary up to us.

Our personalised approach to your
Grape Escape Wine Tour ensures you a relaxed day sampling the region’s outstanding wines at wonderful Cellar Doors.
We can incorporate a stop for lunch, ranging from fabulous pizzas to fine dining … or you can sit back with a charcuterie and cheese platter to savour with your tastings. Your wine tour will be intimate, with no more than six of your family or friends, and can be booked for four and a half hours through to eight hours depending on your desires. The Cellar Doors you visit during your wine tour are welcoming and friendly, and the knowledge imparted and stories told are engaging, focused and diverse.

Both Rodney and Matt are meticulous in ensuring their vehicles meet safety regulations and are maintained to the highest standard. The vehicles are sanitised and the ACT Government’s COVID guidelines for public carrying vehicles are adhered to. Hand sanitiser and masks are available to all passengers.
